  • I’m always asked…

    • How can I create blog content in less time?

    • How can I create blog posts from Instagram captions?

    • How can I reduce how much time I spend creating content each week?

Kinda feel like you’re on a never-ending cxontent creation hamster wheel?

You’re not alone on that one!

It’s something that’s coming up more and more in my conversations with clients and business friends.

And I get it. It can feel like all you do is churn out content… only for it to either not get the traction you were expecting or the reach.

It’s time to get your marketing content working harder for you and make it go further.

It’s time to get into a habit of repurposing your content rather than always creating it from scratch. Because if you’re exhausted or bored by your content creation process right now, it’s not sustainable.

And I realllly don’t want you to hit the burnout wall.

So here’s a process to make your content more efficient and impactful, whilst also cutting your content creation time.

What if you had a weekly marketing routine to create one hero piece of content and repurposed it into other bits of content?

The marketing channels you’re creating for is going to depend on your marketing strategy. But wherever you’re sharing content you can use this process to cut your content creation time and double the impact.

Introducing the efficient content creation workflow…

You want to introduce a weekly workflow to your content creation.

One that hangs around creating a hero piece of content, and hanging all of the other content you create for your other channels off that hero piece of content.

    Pick your hero marketing channel

First you want to decide what your hero marketing channel is going to be.

It might be your weekly email, your podcast, you YouTube video.

Probably the best hero channel to pick is the channel you most enjoy creating content for.

Let’s say your podcast is your hero marketing channel.

Each week you pick your topic and create a podcast episode.

And here’s where the magic happens…

The content for your other marketing channels that week hangs off your podcast episode. (Or you might stagger the content out so it’s not all going out in the same week to create a variety of topics).

You create a blog post for your podcast episode. This is not about creating show notes with a couple of bullet points and some links. This means creating a written blog posts episode - meaning that this opiece of content has double the amount of places to get discovered - through podcast apps and via google.

You then take sound bites from the podcast or bits from your blog post and repurpose them into Instagram content.

And your email is inspired by the same topics - perhaps you expand on something you talked about in your podcast episode.

It looks a bit like this:

    • Hero piece of content: 🎙 Podcast episode

      • Repurposed into: 💻 Blog post, 📱 IG post, 💌 Email

And that’s your week’s worth of content created across all of your marketing channels from one hero piece of content.

Here are a few other examples of how you could get super streamlined and organised with your content ~ to get maximum mileage 💪 out of your marketing minutes.

    • Hero piece of content: 💌 Email

      • Repurposed into: 📱IG carousel, 💻 Blog post

    • Hero piece of content: 📱 IG live

      • Repurposed into: 🎙Podcast episode, 💌 Email

    • Hero piece of content: 🗣 Speaking at an event

      • Repurposed into: 📱IG reels, 🎬 YouTube video, 💌 Email

    • Hero piece of content: 🎬 YouTube video

      • Repurposed into: 📱IG reels, 💻 Blog post, 💌 Email

ORRRR. Another take on this streamlined way of creating content.

You could take a hero topic and talk about it from different angles or in different ways across your marketing channels.

🍾 Here's to no more creating all of your marketing content from scratch! 🥂
